Obituary for Molly McConnell

Ann Marie “Molly” McConnell, 91, of Coatesville died Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her home. Born in Freeland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis E. and Anna Cadden Mulhearn. Molly was the wife of the late James McConnell who died in 1972.

Molly was a RN, employed at the Coatesville and Brandywine Hospitals for over 30 years. She was a member of the former St. Cecilia Church and a member of Our Lady of the Rosary of Coatesville. She enjoyed reading, Bible study, card club and the YMCA. She volunteered with Meals on Wheels.

Molly is survived 3 sons and a daughter: Terry (Debbie) of Downingtown, Tim (Debbie) of Sarasota, FL, Jack (Peg Hennessy) of Coatesville and Maureen Pacana (Larry) of Coatesville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Nicole, Kevin, Bryan, Sean, Caitlin and Molly and 12 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Molly is predeceased by a son Lawrence J., a grandson Jim and a sister Dolores.

Molly's family would like to thank the staff of Harrison House of Chester County for their support and wonderful care of their mother.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Molly on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of the Rosary, 80 South 17th Avenue, Coatesville. Family and friends may call at the church beginning at 9 am. Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Coatesville.

Memorials in Molly’s honor may be made to Harrison House of Chester County, 300 Strode Ave., Coatesville, PA 19320.
